People of San Francisco, we have a new contender for the top spot on my search for the best avocado toast. Tartine bread perfectly toasted, topped with a generous layer of creamy avocado mash. There's more, a dollop of mild chili flakes. I have zero complaints. The large warehouse sized space is beautifully furnished, set off by almost two story walls sporting floor to ceiling windows, sun streaming through. I only see two people on their laptops, this makes me unreasonably happy. Customers include a line for to-go bakery, singles staring at their phones, duos meeting up for breakfast. Looking around I see a full bar, yay for the locals. I'm definitely coming back & load up on freshly made in-house bread. Couldn't help myself, also purchased a fruit galette. No regrets, I'll definitely be planning some Ladies Who Lunch dates.

The mini chocolate crisp cookie was delicious. I can taste real chocolate throughout. I normally like a little chew but I'll make an exception here! The apricot jam is very sweet and easy to spread on your bread or cracker with cheese and meats. For a savory touch I ordered the smoked salmon toast! The bread was so good! Service was friendly and ambiance was clean with lots of open space and high ceilings in the restaurant. My only wish that they could accommodate welcoming dogs. It's so hard to go on a walk and show up to get a bite and you can't sit down because you have a dog.

So yummy! So savory! Every ingredient was delicious and perfectly cooked. I closed my eyes several times just so i could enjoy the flavors. The bread is made in the factory behind and brought out. It tastes like the mushrooms were grown in the backyard. It's just so ridiculously good. How is this place not rated higher?! Because of the style? It's a big open, manufactory, loft vibe... it literally says it in the name. So don't come here expecting a quiet, intimate setting. It's ALL about the food! The burrata, mushroom pizza, and pineapple pizza were all hits. Can't wait to come back. Come early for dinner with kids. Later, it gets busier.

The only thing I've ever had here is the morning bun, which is absolutely delicious and perfect at any time of the day, not just the morning! It stayed flaky, buttery, and soft throughout the day, beyond the timeframe of the morning. It was perfectly citrusy without being too overpowering in flavor. Lines can be long, but the high quality of the pastries is more than worth the wait. This is a definite must-try in San Francisco, a great stop if cafe hopping, and an excellent treat to share with visitors.
